NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswirein July and August 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of visitors from the United States. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in August 2022.

Canada is also on track, just like the United States, to surpass the amount of tourists that visit Israel. In July 2022 Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August witnessed 6,600.
Gal Hana (Consul and Director for Canada, Israel Ministry of Tourism) stated that “it is exciting to see how Canada’s tourism to Israel is booming.” “We are not too far away from our record numbers for 2019 and we anticipate that this growth in travel to Israel will further increase as Canadians remain comfortable traveling internationally.”
