NEW YORK – September 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ -Record-breaking tourist arrivals to the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This represents a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% over the year before.

Israel welcomed over 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 came from the United States. The country’s official reopening for all tourists in May saw more than 600,000.
