The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. This is a 13% increase over the year before.

Canada is set to surpass Israel’s tourist arrivals by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 tourists in August.

Israel received more than 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 of them were from the United States. The country’s officially reopening to travelers in May has seen more than 600,000.
