NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. That’s 13% increase over 2019.

We’re extremely pleased to witness such a positive shift and anticipate a steady upswing for the months and years to come.”
Canada is home to 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022 and 6,000 in August, is not much behind the United States.
Gal Hana, Consul to Canada and Director of Canada at the Israel Ministry of Tourism stated that it was thrilling to see Canada’s tourism to Israel rebounding. “We are not too far away from our record 2019 numbers, and we are anticipating that this growth in tourism to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians continue to feel more at ease travelling abroad.”
