Neve Paritzki Israel celebrates record-breaking tourist entry Indicators From the United States

NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of visitors from the United States. Israel welcomed 78,000 American tourists in July 2022. It was a 4 percent increase over 2019 seven thousand tourists from America visited Israel in August 2022.

Prior to the COVID-19 outbreak we had been celebrating record-breaking number of Israeli tourism entries each month. Just like the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourism numbers in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in the month of July 2022 and 6000 in August.

Gal Hana, Consul for Canada and Director of the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that “it’s so exciting to witness how Canada’s tourism is rebounding.” We’re still not away from our record-setting numbers in 2019, and we are hoping that this increase in Israel travel will continue to increase as Canadians feel more comfortable travelling across the world.”

Israel welcomed over 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 came from the United States. נווה פריצקי The country’s officially reopening to travelers in May has seen more than 600,000.
