NEW YORK – Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for the number of tourists coming to Israel from the United States in July and august. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States during August 2022. That’s a 13% increase over the year before.

We’re thrilled to witness this positive change and anticipate a steady increase in the coming months and years to come.”
Canada is home to 7,200 tourists in July 2022, and 6,000 tourists in August, isn’t too much from the United States.
Gal Hana, Consul for Canada and Director of the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that “it’s so exciting to witness how tourism in Canada is recovering.” “We are not too far away from our record numbers for 2019, and we are anticipating that this growth in travel to Israel will further increase as Canadians continue to feel more comfortable travelling abroad.”
Israel has hosted more than 4.6million visitors in the year 2019, of which 969,600 were from the United States. Since May, when the country opened to all visitors regardless of vaccination status over 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
