Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on the 7 7 of December 1973 to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. He went to primary and secondary school. After that, he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) located in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria, where he got an BSc. in Architecture.

While still at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his journey into ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).
YFC has grown to become the biggest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church has its headquarters in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global ministry with millions upon millions members around the globe is now known as Believers LoveWorld.
