Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family and was born on the 7th of December, 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome. After his primary and secondary schooling, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained the BSc in Architecture.

Oyakhilome AAU also awarded the honorary Doctor of Science prize. He is also awarded an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Chris Oyakhilome Family Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two kids.

While in AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was a student. He began exploring ministry while still in AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.

YFC grew quickly and was the largest campus-based organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters are in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld is now home to millions of followers and associates around the globe.

Chris Oyakhilome Family BLW became the most well-known Christian ministry on TV across Africa, through its”Atmosphere for Miracles” program in 2002. The show was canceled by the president Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.
