Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on the 7 th of December 1973, to Mr. and Mrs. Tim Oyakhilome, as the first child of the family. He completed his primary and secondary education at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. The university awarded him an BSc.

AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary doctorate in divinity from the Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was once married to Anita Obhodaghe, and they have two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome delved into ministry while a student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship was at the time known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

The Future Africa Leaders Foundation is an initiative set up to explore and expand the leadership capabilities of Africans. The foundation assists young Africans who show leadership and can positively influence their generation. This is done through education, youth empowerment and mentoring.

The foundation honors these young leaders with an award ceremony known as The Future Africa Leaders’ Award. It is held on the first day of each New Year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena, (LCA), Billings Way Oregun, Ikeja. The president of BLW Reverend Chris Oyakhilome presents an award to the winners.

The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was created to aid the most orphaned, and vulnerable children living in the poverty of their homes.

Through participatory and sustainable interventions The foundation helps families and children who are in need. This includes children’s development programs, including childcare, family strengthening programmes as well as InnerCity Mission for Children School.

Trauma Care International Foundation
