Chris Oyakhilome. Biography and Philanthropy of the President Of Christ Embassy Church

Chris Oyakhilome from Nigeria is a pastor, television host, and an author. He is president of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated and is also called Christ Embassy International.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first child of the Oyakhilomes being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on the 7 th December 1973. He attended secondary and primary school. After that, he went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria in which he earned an BSc. In Architecture.

AAU also awarded the honorary Doctor of Science Award. He also holds an honorary doctorate in divinity from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was earlier was married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.

Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey in ministry while at AAU. At the time the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was growing, and eventually became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the headquarters of the church. Believer’s LoveWorld has millions of followers and associates around the globe. Through its 2002 environment for miracles program, BLW was the most well-known Christian television ministry in Africa. The program was cancelled in the month of May, 2004 by President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would no longer broadcast miraculous events on television.

The ministry of Pastor Chris is split into four distinct areas including publishing ministry, healing ministry television ministry, teaching ministry and TV ministry. He has also developed the Pastor Chris Live Global Prayer Network, an environment that encourages miracles and an healing school.

Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation was created to explore and expand the leadership potential of Africans. The foundation acknowledges, honors and assists young African leaders who have had a an impact on the generation they lead. They do this by educating as well as youth empowerment, mentoring and mentoring .

The foundation honors the young leaders with an award ceremony called The Next African Leaders’ Awards. Held at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena in Billings Way (LCA), Oregun and Ikeja the ceremony is just 5 years old. The InnerCity Mission For Children

The InnerCity Mission is a faith-based nongovernmental Organisation (NGO). The organization was founded in 2005, with the intention of reaching the most vulnerable, poor, orphaned and vulnerable children who are poor all over the world..

Through sustainable and participatory interventions The foundation aids families and children in need. They include children’s development programs, including childcare, family strengthening programmes, and InnerCity Mission for Children School.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded to enhance the quality of life and overall health of communities and nations by promoting better emergency response services for accidents and emergencies. The foundation has been established to support national policies concerning trauma treatment through advocacy, community-based programs, health education and advocacy.

Over a thousand people were given first aid, safety and emergency response training through the foundation. Their record shows that they were able to train thousands of students, teachers and law enforcement officers, caregivers and road transport workers.

Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps is an international medical outreach of the christian faith. It provides aid materials, medical aid, and education for refugees and internally displaced people within affected regions.

The outreach is comprised of a network of Christian health workers, paramedics , and students from all over the world. The volunteers offer relief assistance, medical care and sustainable healthcare solutions to people living in communities and areas that are in crisis.

VMC also offers health care services to communities in need and manpower development to local health professionals. Chris Oyakhilome VMC is available to all who is driven by the principle of improving health and providing humanitarian assistance to those most in need.

Bible For All Nation (BFAM).
Bible For All Mission is a christian, non-profit organization which is committed to the production, distribution, and worldwide distribution of the Bible for all generations and genders, in the language and format they can understand. In doing this, the ministry is helping them learn the Word of God and experience his life-changing message.

BFAM distributed hundreds of thousands of Rhapsody Bibles to people, communities, prisons as well as private and public institutions across the world. It includes Philippines, Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria. Through a global network of Bible-related sponsors and volunteers across the globe the outreach was possible.
