Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first son of the Oyakhilomes, being born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. After his first and second education, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him an BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary doctorate of divinity from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was once married with Anita Obhodaghe and they have two gorgeous children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his journey in ministry while at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at that time known as Youths For Christ.
YFC grew quickly and was the largest campus-based group. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld has millions of followers and associates across the world.
Through the”Atmosphere for Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry through television. The programme was canceled in May 2004 by President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that churches would stop broadcasting miracles on television.
