Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family, and was born the 7th of December, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He finished his secondary and primary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with an BSc.

YFC grew and was the largest church on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide organization with millions upon millions of members around the globe, is now called Believers LoveWorld.

Through the”Atmosphere of Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry through television. They stopped airing it in May 2004 , when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria announced that churches should cease broadcasting miracles.
