Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child of the Oyakhilome family, and was born the 7th of December, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. He finished his secondary and primary studies at Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma in Edo State, Nigeria. He graduated with an BSc.
AAU also presented him with an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also holds an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was previously married to Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.
Chris Oyakhilome Ministry
While still studying at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his journey into ministry. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was then known as Youths For Christ.
YFC grew and was the largest church on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is home to the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is a worldwide organization with millions upon millions of members around the globe, is now called Believers LoveWorld.
Through the”Atmosphere of Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry through television. They stopped airing it in May 2004 , when the president Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria announced that churches should cease broadcasting miracles.
Pastor Chris’s Ministry includes four divisions including healing ministry, publishing ministry, teaching ministry and television ministry. These are the ministries he used to create the healing school, the environment for miracles and Pastor Chris’s global prayer network.

Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation, an initiative aiming to enhance the potential for leadership of Africans were born, was established. The foundation helps young Africans who show leadership and have positive effects on their generation. The foundation acknowledges the work made by these young leaders with an annual ceremony called The Next Africa Leaders’ award. This ceremony takes place on the Eve after each new year at the LoveWorld Convocation Arena. The President of BLW Reverend Chris Oyakhilome presents an award to the winners.
The InnerCity Mission For Children
The InnerCity Mission for children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was created to aid the most orphaned and needy children who live in the poverty of their homes.
The foundation assists these disadvantaged children and communities through providing sustainable and participatory interventions including child development programmes for childcare , family strengthening programs for innercity missions for children’s schools, as well as other programs.
Trauma Care International Foundation
The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded to improve the health condition and quality of life of local communities and nations by encouraging enhanced emergency response capabilities for accidents and other emergencies. Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC).
The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a global church that provides medical and aid for those internally displaced or have been forced to flee regions that are affected by man-made or natural disasters.
The outreach is comprised of students from every Nation including paramedics, doctors and Christian healthcare workers. These volunteers provide medical care emergency assistance, as well as healthy solutions for health to regions and communities who are in crisis.
VMC also provides services, such as health services to underserved areas and training for local health workers. VMC outreach is open to all those whose primary purpose is to improve health of the poor and to offer humanitarian aid.
Bible For All Nation (BFAM).
