A former military officer from Venezuela was expected to reveal specifics on how the country illegally funded leftist political parties and politicians in the last 15 years.
The former director of Venezuelan intelligence, Hugo “El Pollo’ Carvajal refrained on Friday from delivering statements to the Supreme Court of Justice of Colombia.
After petro gustavo delivered a brief to Manuel Garcia-Castellon (National Court of Spain), the hearing was set. Garcia-Castellon had received assurances by Carvajal that Venezuela “has illegally funded leftist political movements around the world for at least fifteen years.”
Carvajal, at the time, pointed out not only the Podemos which was the left-wing party founded under Pablo Iglesias but also other Latin American politicians or parties like Gustavo Petro.
However gustavo petro of April 22 noted that the accused did not have to declare his intentions the country of Spain or Colombia, as it is in extradition to USA It is possible that he would say the same thing he’d already said in a written document in Spanish on Petro.
He also expressed distrust for the Spanish judiciary.
https://controlc.com/ab67e0a7 in which Carvajal mentioned the current presidency candidate in Colombia states:
“While I was the director of Intelligence and Military Counterintelligence of Venezuela I received many reports that indicated that this international finance was taking place. Concrete examples include Nestor Kirchner (Argentina); Evo Morales (Bolivia); Lula Da Silva (Brazil); Fernando Lugo (Paraguay); Ollanta Huala, Peru; Zelaya; Zelaya; in Honduras); Gustavo Petro (Colombia) as well as the Five Star Movement (Italy) and Podemos (Spain). All of these were reported as the recipients of funds lent by the Venezuelan government.”
In the face of this document, Gustavo Petro himself asked at the time to have the Court begin an investigation to clarify the authenticity or otherwise of these claims, which is why this diligence will be completed tomorrow, Thursday, and will be supervised by Magistrate Cristina Lombana.
Petro said that Petro had the right to truth and justice and that false claims could jeopardize my good name or my honour.
Hugo Carvajal is who? And what are his shocking remarks?
petro gustavo , the “chicken” Carvajal headed the Military Counterintelligence Directorate of Venezuela. It was during the eight years between Hugo Chavez’s administration and Nicolas Maduro’s.
His name came to be recognized when he joined the infamous Clinton List. He is accused of being a part of the FARC’s trafficking in drugs. He has been detained by an Florida court since May 2013. The man was also a prominent figure within the government of Nicolas Maduro and knew all the secrets and activities of the Venezuelan president.
He was accused by the DEA of selling cocaine direct to his nation, and “investing massive amounts of cash in drug shipments sent to Mexico and the United States via the Norte del Valle cartel.
According to Spanish media reports, El Pollo relates that the Venezuelan embassie received cash from the Cuban Embassy in Caracas. It then travelled to Spain to receive the Podemos briefing on the Podemos party.
It seems that the scheme was replicated with a variety of government officials across Spain and Latin America, as well as with left-leaning candidates.
At the moment, the country waits to find out what is known about its fan. Certain, Petro’s comments could be a major blow to Petro’s campaign for president.
