That’s 13% increase over 2019.
Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He said, “It’s so exciting to witness a further rise in tourism to Israel from the United States, and already exceeding or even surpassing our record breaking numbers of 2019”. “The United States has been our largest market for Israel’s tourism inbound. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 we had record numbers of Israel’s tourism entry each month.
Canada is on track to surpass Israel’s arrivals in tourist numbers by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 tourists in August.

We are getting close to our record numbers for 2019, and we anticipate that this growth in travel to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians feel more at home abroad.
