NEW YORK – Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ – Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record-breaking numbers of travelers from the United States who visited Israel in July and August. 78,000 visitors from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.

We are so happy to witness such a positive shift and anticipate it to continue for many months and years.”
Canada which isn’t too far from that of the United States of America, is set to beat the tourist numbers to Israel. The country had 7,200 visitors in July 2022 as well as 6,000 visitors in August.

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists in 2019. 969,600 of them were from the United States. The country’s officially reopening to travelers in May saw more than 600,000.
