NEW YORK, Sept. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking numbers of tourists from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. Prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 we were celebrating record number of Israeli tourism entries each month.
Canada is set to surpass Israel’s arrivals in tourist numbers 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in the month of July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

We are still not away from our record-setting numbers for 2019, and we anticipate that this surge in Israel travel will continue to grow as Canadians feel more comfortable travelling abroad.”
In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists including 969,600 from the United States, and since the country’s official opening to any traveler regardless of vaccination status in May this year Israel has witnessed over 600,400 US visitors.
