Israel received 78,000 visitors from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That’s 13% increase over 2019.

He said, “It’s so exciting to once more see an rise in tourism to Israel from America, which is already in the process of surpassing or exceeding our record-breaking numbers for 2019”. “The United States remains our most important market for Israel-bound tourism. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism numbers each month. We are thrilled to witness this change and are expecting an ongoing upward trend for months and even years.
Not far behind the United States, Canada is in the process of surpassing the number of tourists visiting Israel with 7,200 visitors in July 2022 and 6000 in August.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening to any traveler regardless of vaccination status in May this year, the country has already seen over 600,400 US tourists.
