NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswirein July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism announced record numbers of tourists arriving from the United States. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which is an increase by 4% over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That’s 13% increase over the year before.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world 969,600 of whom came from the United States, and since its official reopening to everyone regardless of their vaccination status in May this year Israel has received over 600,400 US travelers.
