NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- The Israel Ministry of Tourism today released new records for arrivals of tourists to Israel from the United States in July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This is a 13% improvement from the year before.

Canada, not too far behind the United States of America, is on track for surpassing the number of tourists visiting Israel. It reached 7,200 tourists in July 2022 as well as 6,000 visitors in August.
Gal Hana is the Consul and Director for Canada within the Israel Ministry of Tourism. We’re close to reaching our record numbers for 2019, and we are anticipating that this increase in travel to Israel will continue as Canadians feel more at home abroad.
