NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswire• In July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism recorded record numbers of tourist arrivals from the United States. The country welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022 that’s a 4 percent increase from 2019 and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 that’s an increase of 13% from 2019.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was exciting to observe a rise in Israeli tourism from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019, he said. “The United States is our number one market for travel to Israel, and before the COVID-19 epidemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourism entry numbers month after month; We’re extremely pleased to witness an improvement in the trend and we anticipate an upswing for the many months and years to be.”
Canada is on track to surpass Israel’s arrivals in tourist numbers 7200 tourists are expected to visit Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.
