NEW YORK – Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswirein July and August of 2018, the Israel Ministry of Tourism reported record numbers of visitors from America. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents an increase of 13% from the year before.

He stated, “It’s so exciting to again see an increase of tourism to Israel from the United States, and already in the process of surpassing or exceeding the record-breaking numbers we saw in 2019”. “The United States is our top market for inbound tourism to Israel, and before the COVID-19 epidemic, we were celebrating record-breaking tourist numbers month after month; We’re so happy to see this positive change and we anticipate an upward trajectory for years and months to be.”
In line with in the United States, Canada is also on track to surpass its tourism numbers in Israel, reaching 7,200 visitors in July 2022 , and 6,600 in August.

Israel has hosted more than 4.6million visitors in the year 2019 of which 969,600 were from the United States. Since May that year, when Israel opened to all visitors regardless of vaccination status, more than 600,000.400 US visitors have visited Israel.
