Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating record-breaking Tourism Entry Counts from the United States

NEW YORK, Sept. 8th, 2022 /PRNewswire– The Israel Ministry of Tourism announced today record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States visiting Israel in the months of July and August. Israel welcomed 78,000 total travelers from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

Canada, not too far from the United States of America, is on track for surpassing its tourist arrivals to Israel. It reached 7,200 tourists in July 2022 and 6,000 in August.

“It is exciting to see how the Canadian tourism to Israel is growing,” said Gal Hana, Consul and Director for Canada of the Israel Ministry of Tourism. “We are not too far away from our record 2019 numbers, and we are anticipating that this increase in the number of travelers to Israel will continue to grow as Canadians continue to feel more comfortable traveling internationally.” Israel received more than 4.6 million tourists in the year of 2019. 969,600 of them were from the United States. נווה פריצקי The country’s official reopening to all travelers in May has seen more than 600,000.
