The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States in July 2022 which is an increase of 4% from 2019 and 71,000 travelers from the United States in August 2022, a 13% increase from 2019.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was exciting to see a rise in Israeli tourism from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019, he said. “The United States is our number one market for Israel’s inbound tourism. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we had record numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel every month. We are so happy to see this positive change and expect it to continue for a long time.”

Israel received more tourists from around the world in 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 were American. Israel’s official opening for all tourists was in May of 2018. The country has already received more than 600,400 US travellers since that time.
