NEW YORK – September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/Record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States during August 2022. That’s 13% growth over 2019.
Eyal Carlin is the North American Tourism Commissioner. He stated, “It’s so exciting to witness a further increase of tourism to Israel from the United States, and already reaching or surpassing our record-breaking numbers for 2019”. “The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. Canada is in the process, as the United States, to surpass the number of tourists who visit Israel. In July 2022, Canada saw 7,200 tourists and August was a record 6,600.
