NEW YORK – September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- New record breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This represents a 4 percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This represents a 13% improvement from the year before.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was thrilling to witness an increase in tourism to Israel coming from the United States. Canada is on track to beat Israel’s tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international visitors in 2019 and this included 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter whether they’re vaccinated. It has already hosted over 600,000.
