NEW YORK – September 8 2022Record-breaking tourist arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans in July 2022. This was a 4 percent increase from 2019, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.

נווה פריצקי Canada is on track to surpass Israel’s arrivals in tourist numbers by attracting 7,200 tourists to Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 in August.

In 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from around the world including 969,600 from the United States, and since its official reopening for all travelers regardless of vaccination status in May of this year Israel has witnessed over 600,400 US tourists.
