The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over the year before, and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This represents a 13% improvement from the year before.

In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million global tourists, 969,600 of them coming from the United States, and since its official reopening to any traveler regardless of the status of their vaccination in May, the country has already seen over 600,400 US tourists.
