Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4% rise over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% over the year before.

Israel welcomed more tourists from around the world in the year 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 of them were American. Israel’s official reopening to all tourists was in May of 2018. The country has been home to more than 600,400 US travellers since that time.
