NEW YORK – Sept. 8 2022 /PRNewswire/- Today the Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced record-breaking figures of tourists from the United States who visited Israel during July and August. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a 4% increase over 2019 and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.

He said, “It’s so exciting to again see an rise in tourism to Israel from America, already in the process of surpassing or exceeding our record-breaking numbers for 2019”. “The United States is the top market for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were celebrating record breaking numbers of tourists entering the country every month. This is a positive trend that we’re pleased to witness and anticipate an increase in the years to be.”
Canada is set to beat Israel’s tourism arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022, and 6,600 tourists in August.
