NEW YORK – Sep. 8, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for the number of tourists coming in Israel from the United States in July and August. Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, we had record-breaking numbers of Israeli tourists entering Israel every month. We are thrilled to see such a positive shift, and we expect it to continue throughout the months and years to come.”

“It is so exciting to see how tourism from Canada to Israel is booming,” said Gal Hana Director and Consul for Canada for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. “We aren’t too far from our record numbers for 2019 We are hoping that the growth in travel to Israel will continue to increase as Canadians remain comfortable traveling abroad.”
Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international tourists in 2019 including 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they’re vaccination-free. Israel already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
