The country welcomed 78,000 visitors from the United States for July 2022. Canada which isn’t too far from that of the United States of America, is poised to surpass its tourist arrivals to Israel. It reached 7,200 visitors in July 2022 as well as 6,000 visitors in August.
Gal Hana, Consul to Canada and Director for Canada at the Israel Ministry of Tourism said that it was thrilling to see the Canadian tourism industry to Israel returning. “We aren’t too far from our record 2019 numbers and we anticipate that the growth in the number of travelers to Israel will further increase as Canadians continue to feel more confident about traveling internationally.”
Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from abroad in the year 2019 including 969.600 coming from the United States.
