NEW YORK – September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/- New record breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country received 78,000 travelers from the United States during July 2022 which was an increase of 4% over the year before and 71,000 tourists from the United States during August 2022. That’s a 13% increase over 2019.
Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) stated that it was exciting to see an increase in tourism to Israel from the United States. Already surpassing the record-breaking numbers of 2019, he added. “The United States is our number one market for travel to Israel prior to the outbreak of COVID-19 was announced, we had record-breaking numbers of tourism entries every month. We’re extremely pleased to witness this positive change and we anticipate an upward trajectory for years and months to be.”
