Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) said it was thrilling to witness the growth in Israeli tourism from the United States. Canada is set to surpass Israel’s tourist arrivals, with 7,200 tourists visiting Israel in July 2022 and 6,600 in August.

Israel received more tourists from around the world in the year 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 of them were American. Israel’s official reopening to all tourists was in May of 2018. Israel has been home to more than 600,400 US travelers since then.
