NEW YORK – September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/new record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. The country received 78,000 tourists from the United States in July 2022, a 4% increase from the year before and 71,000 total visitors from the United States in August 2022 which is an increase of 13% from 2019.

Israel welcomed more that 4.6 million international tourists in 2019, with 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all visitors, regardless whether they have been immunized. The country already has hosted more than 600,000 visitors.
