NEW YORK – Sep. 8 2022, /PRNewswire/ The Israel Ministry of Tourism today unveiled new records for tourist arrivals to Israel from the United States in July and August. The country welcomed 78,000 Americans during July 2022. It was a four percent increase over the year before, while 71,000 American tourists were in Israel during August 2022.

Israel has welcomed more than 4.6 million tourists from abroad in 2019, with 969.600 of them coming from the United States. In May 2018, Israel opened its doors to all tourists, no matter whether they’re vaccination-free. It has already hosted over 600,000.
