Israel welcomed 78,000 tourists from the United States for July 2022. This is a 4 percent increase over 2019 and 71,000 tourists from the United States for August 2022. This is an increase of 13% from the year before.

Israel received more tourists from all over the world during 2019 than any other nation. 969 600 of these were Americans. Israel’s official reopening to all tourists was in May of 2018. The country has received over 600,400 US travellers since that time.
