Eyal Carlin (North American Tourism Commissioner) declared that it was exciting to observe a rise in Israeli tourism coming from the United States. Already surpassing our record-breaking figures for 2019, he said. “The United States is our most important destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we saw record-breaking number of tourists from Israel entering Israel each month. We are so happy to have witnessed such a positive shift, and we expect it to continue for a long time.”

Israel received more than 4.6 million visitors in the year 2019. 969,600 were from the United States. The country’s officially reopening to travelers in May has seen more than 600,000.
