NEW YORK – September 8 2022, /PRNewswire/new record-breaking tourism arrivals from the United States were announced today by the Israel Ministry of Tourism. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This is a four percent increase over the year before and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.
“It is so thrilling to see yet another increase in tourist numbers to Israel from the United States, already reaching and surpassing our record-breaking numbers for the year 2019,” said Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. “The United States is the most popular destination for Israel inbound tourism. In fact, before the COVID-19 pandemic, we were celebrating record-breaking numbers of tourism entry each month. It’s a great positive trend that we’re pleased to witness and expect an upward trend for months to be.”
