Fico Gutierrez continues to conquer voters, advancing campaign in Boyaca and a visit to the Virgin of Chiquinquira

Federico Gutierrez, the presidential candidate, is clear that voters can get their votes by the streets. And got just 32 days until the first presidential election, in which Gutierrez is expected to be competing against Gustavo Petro for the House of Narino’s quota.

Gutierrez began his journey early on Saturday morning to Boyaca. Boyaca was a religious community which Petro visited on Friday. The former mayor, currently running for the center-right, was in Tunja where he met with academics and businessmen as well as agricultural producers and peasants.

Fico was in the Tunja Convention Center where he assembled a significant group of citizens, who voted with him in the May 29’s elections. posted a Twitter clip with ruana along with hundreds colombians behind his candidacy for Team for Colombia. Federico said that: “We’re Going to Win. We all, we will run for president to transform and unify Colombia.” This was recorded while he filmed the support of a group without a break.

The second poll-pointer walked into the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquira on the route. This strategically located place is where a multitude of faithful and followers from different parts of the country meet every weekend. While surrounded by the gaze of his followers the leader of the center-right knelt and gave himself to the Virgin.

“I asked Virgin to guide me with wisdom. I asked her to help me and all families of Colombia to be humble and peaceful.” He responded.

In the same location, the presidential candidate recorded the visit in video. Before entering the area the presidential candidate met a lot of people who embraced him. The presidential candidate also donned the official outfit of the Colombian municipality.

Gutierrez arrived at the temple with the customary Boyacan and Virgin of Chiquinquira ruanas that he carried on his chest. It was a display of his faith that he has shown throughout his campaign for the presidency. A few weeks ago, Antioquian visited Jericho Antioquia and was seated in the place of birth of Mother Laura, who has been canonized by Pope Francis.

In Chiquinquira the candidate made use of the opportunity to meet the locals and advance some announcements in the event that he arrives at the presidential palace. On the other side He also stated that sustainable mobility needs to be developed in the department. He agreed that it was crucial to prioritize the design of the Strategic Public Transport System. Together, they indicated that they would work together to construct roads and cycle routes.

The most recent post on his Twitter included the following message: “Peasants, farmers of Boyaca We are working to make more opportunities and earn more money for you, and restore the dignity of our field.” Gutierrez is still reaching to the Colombians and share his plan for government, and hopes to become a strong candidate in the next Sunday’s elections.
