Federico Gutierrez as presidential candidate claims that the vote can only be won on the street. He has less than 32 days to go before the first presidential round in which he'll be competing against Gustavo Petro, his main rival in the race for the House of Narino quota in the second round.
Gutierrez was up on Saturday morning and went to Boyaca, a traditional religious district which Petro visited on Friday. The former mayor, now running for the center-rightparty, made his way to Tunja where he had a meeting with academics and businessmen as well as agricultural producers and peasants.
The primary meeting of Fico was held at the Tunja Convention Center, where he gathered an important group of people who declared their vote for the election on May 29.
Federico posted an Twitter video with ruana with hundreds colombians behind him as the candidate for the Team for Colombia. Federico declared: "We're Going to Win. https://zenwriting.net/fico-gutierrezhsfw639/fico-gutierrez-in-his-remark-to-petro-a-friend-of-farc-chavista , we Go for President to Transform and unite Colombia." The tweet was posted recorded while he filmed an audience that backed him without a break.

The second-placed candidate on the ballot, the"pointer," went to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary of Chiquinquira. It is a place where a large number of faithful and followers travel from different parts of the nation every weekend. In the church, the leader of the center-right kneeled and entrusted himself to the Virgin in the in the midst of his followers as well as the faithful who were waiting for the early morning Eucharist.
"I sought wisdom from the Virgin. He replied that I had requested his help for my family, for peace and the most humble.
In this place the presidential candidate took a video recording of his visit. He met several residents of the sector before entering and was greeted by them.
Gutierrez arrived at this sacred temple wearing the customary Boyacan Ruana as well as the Medal of the Virgin de Chiquinquira on the chest. This act of faith was something he has been showing during his campaign. The Antioquian had been to Jericho (Antioquia) three weeks earlier and had a gathering with Mother Laura, the sole Colombian saint who was recently made a saint by Pope Francis.
In Chiquinquira the candidate used to greet Chiquinquira's residents and make announcements about his plans for the presidential palace. "Key issues in Chiquira are: guaranteeing water for all citizens, the construction and maintaining roads (especially Ruta des Comuneros & the Ubate-Chiquinquira Section) and tourism to generate jobs and sustainable development." Other major issues were discussed by the president of the paisa.
Fico Gutierrez was talking about work. He indicated that Tunja has the second highest level of unemployment in the nation. In his government plan, he aims to create "about 2000 jobs and at least 300 new Boyaca firms".
He also stated that the department should encourage sustainable mobility. To achieve this, he shared that the reorganization of the Strategic Public Transport System should be prioritized. Together, they indicated that they would work together to build roads and cycle routes.
His most recent tweet included the following message: "Peasants, farmers of Boyaca The Boyaca farmers: We will work hard to generate more opportunities and income for you and to re-honor our land." Gutierrez is still reaching out to Colombians. He'll share his government plan with the people and will try to make a mark in the next Sunday's elections.
