Federico Gutierrez, the ex-mayor of Medellin, was elected the candidate of the center-right. He won more than 1.7million votes.

In fact, he’s confronted the former mayors who he backed and has recently said “I am in solidarity with the people who are included in the report because I don’t think anyone makes a decision in order to ensure that a diversion tunnel will fall and one is not in the solidarity of others and what certain sectors do is attacked by strategies of political power”.
A new race for the presidency
The so-called Experience Coalition was founded in the month of October 2021. The group later became Team for Colombia. Federico Gutierrez of the Center-right coalition was elected Federico’s candidate. The moment is now, Paola Holguin from the Democratic Center is supporting Federico. Paola was also running for an office in the 2022 election.
He has also claimed that his model of administration comes from public management for the people at numerous times and that politics is a career. Gustavo Petro got the second-highest percentage of votes. ‘Fico,’ the way he likes it to be called, will be Antioquia’s representative on the right.
