AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science Award. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Benson Idahosa University. Reverend Chris was at one point a man who was married to Anita Obhodaghe. He and she have two wonderful children.

While still studying at AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into the field of ministry. The Believers LoveWorld Fellowship (now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated) was at the time known as Youths For Christ.
YFC grew to become the largest campus-based church. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters are in Lagos. Believer’s LoveWorld today has millions of associates and followers all over the globe.

Future Africa Leaders’ Foundation (FALF)
The Future Africa Leaders Foundation has been set up to research and enhance the leadership potentials Africans. The foundation celebrates and supports young Africans who have shown leadership skills by making a positive impact in their own generation. They accomplish this through education and empowerment of youth, mentorship and mentoring .
The foundation recognizes the achievements of the young leaders by holding an award ceremonycalled The Future African Leaders Awards. The InnerCity Mission for Children is a faith-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). In 2005, the NGO was created to assist the needy, orphaned, and vulnerable children who live in the poverty of their homes.
Through participatory and sustainable interventions, the foundation assists these families and children who are who are in need. This includes children’s development programs, including childcare, family strengthening programs and InnerCity Mission for Children School.

The TraumaCare International Foundation was created in order to increase the lifespan and health status of communities in the local area. The foundation is positioned to assist national policies on trauma care through advocacy, community-based health programs, health education, and advocacy.
More than 1000 courses on first aid, safety, and emergency management have been conducted by the foundation. The foundation has trained over 1000 instructors, law enforcement officers caregivers, road transportation workers.
Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC).
The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a global Christian organization that offers medical and aid to those who are internally displaced or refugees from regions affected by natural or manmade disasters.
This outreach consists of a network consisting of paramedics christian health workers, and students from all across the globe. They provide support with emergency medical care and also sustainable health care solutions for those in need.
VMC also provides health services to under-served communities and also manpower development for health professionals in the local area. VMC outreach is available to everyone whose primary objective is to improve the health of the poor and to provide humanitarian assistance.
Bible For All Nation
Bible For All Mission (BFAM) is a Christian organisation, is committed to making, producing, and global distribution of Bibles for everyone. The Bible is accessible in any language or format that they know about. Outreach helps people learn God’s Word while also allowing them to be impacted by the life-changing message of Jesus Christ.
BFAM has distributed hundreds of thousands of free copies of Rhapsody Bible in communities, prisons, hospitals, and other institutions across the globe which includes South Africa, Nigeria, Gambia and Ghana. Through a global network of Bible sponsors and volunteers around the world, this outreach was feasible.
