Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first member of his family members to be born. After his primary and secondary schooling, he enrolled in Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.

YFC was able to grow to become the biggest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The foundation has carried out more than a thousand First Aid, safety, and emergency response courses. They have taught thousands of police officers, teachers and caregivers, as well as road transport workers.
