Pastor Chris Oyakhilome is the first Oyakhilome's son, having been born to Tim Oyakhilome and Chris Oyakhilome on 7 th December 1973. After his first and second education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where he received a BSc. in Architecture.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome delved into ministry while a student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship which is which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (YFC) was at the time known as the Believers' LoveWorld fellowship.
YFC rapidly grew and eventually became the largest campus fellowship. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church. Believer's LoveWorld is a global ministry with millions of associates worldwide.
