Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on the 7th of December 1973, to Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. Following his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where was awarded a BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also conferred him an honourary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his ministry while an undergraduate student at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship which is now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was at the time called Youths For Christ.
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome YFC was quickly growing and soon was the largest campus-based organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s main office. Believer’s LoveWorld is today a global church with millions of members and associates around the world.
Through the atmosphere for miracles series, BLW became Africa’s most well-known Christian ministry through television. The program was canceled in May 2004, when the then President of Nigeria – Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country’s president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should cease airing miracles on the television.

The InnerCity Mission for children is a religious-based non-governmental Organisation (NGO). The organization was founded in 2005, with the intention of reaching the poor, needy children who are orphaned, vulnerable and who are homeless around the globe..

Trauma Care International Foundation
The TraumaCare Foundation was created in order to improve the life expectancy and health of local communities. The foundation intends to achieve this goal through health education, advocacy and community-based programs , while also providing support for national policies regarding trauma treatment.
More than 1000 classes on first aid, safety, and emergency management were conducted by the foundation. They have trained thousands of police officers, teachers and caregivers as well road transporters.
Volunteer Medical Corps
The Volunteer Medical Corps (christian medical outreach) is a global church that provides medical aid and assistance to people who are internally displaced or are refugees from regions affected by natural or manmade disasters.
