Chris Oyakhilome is an Nigerian pastor, TV host, as well as a writer. He is also the President of Believers’ LoveWorld Inc. Also known as Christ Embassy International.

Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was born on 7 7 of December 1973, to Mr and Mrs Tim Oyakhilome, as the first son of the family. After his primary and second education, he went to Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where he received a BSc. in Architecture.

AAU also awarded the honourary Doctor of Science. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was previously married to Anita Obhodaghe. They have two children.

While still in AAU Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was in the AAU student program. He began to explore ministry while still at AAU. The Believers’ LoveWorld fellowship was known at the time as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC grew, and it was the largest college organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld is a global organization which has thousands of associates around the world.

Through the”Atmosphere for Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most popular Christian ministry through television. They stopped airing the program in May of 2004, after the then President of Nigeria – Olusegun Obasanjo announced that the country’s president had resigned Olusegun Obasanjo announced that churches should not air miracles on television.

The foundation assists these disadvantaged children and communities through providing sustainable and participatory interventions such as child development programmes for childcare and family strengthening programs for innercity missions for children’s schools, as well as other programs.

Trauma Care International Foundation

The Trauma Care International Foundation was founded in order to enhance the health and life expectancy of the local community and nation by promoting enhanced emergency response capabilities in the event of accidents and other emergencies. The foundation is positioned to assist national policies on trauma care by promoting health education in the community, community-based programs, and advocacy.

The foundation has provided more than a thousand First Aid safety, emergency response training. Record has it that, they have been able to educate thousands of students in schools, law enforcement officers and teachers, caregivers, and road transporters.

Volunteer Medical Corps (VMC)
