Pastor Chris Oyakhilome (or Chris Oyakhilome) was born on December 7, 1973 in the home of Tim Oyakhilome as the first child. He went to primary and secondary school. He then went to Ambrose Alli University (AAU) in Ekpoma, Edo State of Nigeria and graduated with an BSc. In Architecture.

At the time the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC). YFC grew, and it was the largest college organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. The church’s headquarters are in Lagos.
