Chris Oyakhilome is a Nigerian pastor, a television host as well as an an author. He is the President of Believers’ LoveWorld Incorporated and is also known as Christ Embassy International.

Chris Oyakhilome Background
Pastor Chris Oyakhilome was the first child born to the family of Oyakhilome, and was born December 7, 1973 to Tim Oyakhilome. After his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.

AAU also awarded him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He has also been awarded an honorary doctorate from Benson Idahosa University in divinity. The Reverend Chris was once married with Anita Obhodaghe and they have two beautiful children.

Chris Oyakhilome’s ministry
While still enrolled at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome became involved in the ministry. At the time, the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).

YFC was growing, and eventually became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the church’s main office. Believer’s LoveWorld is today a global church with millions of members and associates around the world.

Through the”Atmosphere for Miracles” series, BLW became Africa’s most well-known Christian ministry through television. The show was cancelled in May 2004 by President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who announced that the churches would cease broadcasting miraculous events on television. Chris Oyakhilome Pastor Chris’s Ministry is divided into four parts that include healing ministry, publishing ministry, teaching ministry and television ministry.
