Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first in his family to be born. After his secondary and primary education, he attend Ambrose Alli University (AAU), Ekpoma, Edo State, Nigeria where he obtained a BSc in Architecture.

While still studying at AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome began his path into the field of ministry. At the time, the Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated was known as Youths For Christ (YFC).
YFC increased in size, and became the biggest campus organization. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the location of the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld now has millions of followers and associates all over the globe.
Through its 2002 atmosphere for miracles, BLW was the most well-known Christian broadcasting channel in Africa. The program was pulled by President Olusegun Obasanjo in May 2004.
