Pastor Chris Oyakhilome grew up on the 7 thDecember 1973. He was the first member of his family members to be born. Following his primary and secondary education, he attended Ambrose Alli University in Ekpoma (Edo State), Nigeria, where the university awarded him an BSc. in Architecture.
AAU also gave him an honorary Doctor of Science award. He also has an honorary Doctor of Science degree from Benson Idahosa University. The Reverend Chris was married to Anita Obhodaghe once, and they have two children.

While still attending AAU, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome started his journey into the field of ministry. The Believers’ LoveWorld Fellowship, now Believers LoveWorld Incorporated, was in the beginning known as Youths For Christ.
YFC expanded and became the largest fellowship on campus. In 1989, Pastor Chris established Believers LoveWorld Incorporated (BLW), alongside Christ Embassy. Lagos is the home of the church’s headquarters. Believer’s LoveWorld today has millions of associates and followers around the globe.
BLW became the most prominent Christian ministry on TV across Africa thanks to its”Atmosphere for Miracles” programme in 2002. The program was cancelled in May 2004 by President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo who declared that the churches would stop broadcasting miracles on TV.
Pastor Chris’s Ministry consists of four parts: publishing ministry (healing ministry) TV ministry (teaching ministry) and healing ministry (publishing ministry). These ministries are what was used to develop the healing school, the environment for miracles and Pastor Chris’s global prayer network.
